K7 TotalSecurity 9.5 bags the prestigious VB 100 award

K7 TotalSecurity 9.5 has been awarded the prestigious VB 100 award of Virus Bulletin, UK. This award is widely recognized and sought after within the security software product industry.

Virus Bulletin has been carrying out independent comparative testing of anti-virus products since 1998. The tests focus on virus detection rates and scanning speed, as well as analyzing how each product fares when scanning a set of files that are known to be clean.

In the latest tests, Virus Bulletin has commended K7 TotalSecurity 9.5 for its speed and detection rates. While pointing out the user friendliness, the review opined, “Unlike most AV installers, which simply warn users of potential problems if installing over existing protection software, K7's installer includes a check for possible products...all done with remarkable speed.”

The VB 100 review also made a special mention of heuristic scanning capability of K7 TotalSecurity 9.5, by commenting, ”Detection rates were impressive...the wild list was also well handled and without false positives.”

Acknowledging this prestigious award, Mr.Kesavardhanan, CEO of K7 Computing said, " The VB 100 award is another recognition of our continuous commitment to give our customers a world class antivirus product. As the only Indian security software company which is successful globally, this international award is definitely a catalyst to our growth plans."
